Learning how to play
craps can at times be as enjoyable as playing craps as it's a
highly interactive spectator sport.
Your interaction on
average is limited to placing bets and cheering on the shooter
(or jeering him as the case may be) and in some cases teaching
others how to play.
The Die is passed around
the table from person to person in a clock wise rotation. It's
considered rude to insert yourself into the rotation early (placing
yourself in rotation to recieve the die as one of the next couple
of shooters).
To be a shooter while
you play you must have a bet on the table.
Once you're a shooter
you quite simply roll until you loose. There's nothing like hitting
a streak in Craps with an excitable table. They go nuts with every
roll. It's quite a lot of fun.
As an observer, get
involved, but don't lean into the table enough so that the die
may hit you. It's considered bad luck.
Of course many of the
rules on how to play craps apply exclusively to playing craps
in a casino. To play craps online, you simple need the software.
Until they develop highly interactive multi-person craps games,
when you play craps online now you'll be playing alone.
Which is still however
a great way to learn the nuances of how to play craps.
